Programs for 2018

Waccamaw Audubon Society will meet Thursday November 8, at St. Paul's Methodist Church, 180 St. Paul Place, Pawleys Island, SC. Refreshments are at 6 PM and the meeting will begin at 6:30. Our speaker is Felicia Sanders. She has a B.S. in Zoology from Duke University and a M.S. in Biology from Clemson University. She joined the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources in 2001and leads South Carolina's Shorebird and Seabird Projects. Felicia will tell us about her over 10 years of monitoring the Oystercatcher populations in the Cape Romain Region.

The Waccamaw Audubon Society meets 6 times a year:  March, April, May, September, October, and  November  at    6 pm.  The meetings are held at several locations in order to be most convenient to our geographically diverse membership. Locations of all meetings are announced on the web site, by email (if we have your address) and through press releases to the local media.

All WAS programs are free and the public is invited to attend.
