Programs for 2018

Waccamaw Audubon Society will meet Thursday April 12, at St. Paul's Methodist Church, 180 St. Paul Place, Pawleys Island, SC. Refreshments are at 6 PM and the meeting will begin at 6:30. Our speaker is Matt Johnson, Director of Bird Conservation & Engagement for Audubon South Carolina. He will speak about the Climate Watch Project and the Eastern Bluebird. This project documents birds' responses to climate change and the Eastern Bluebird is our target species in the survey.



The Waccamaw Audubon Society meets six times a year, on the second Thursday of March, April, May, September, October, and November.  Refreshments at 6:00 pm, meeting starts at 6:30 pm.  The meetings are held at several locations in order to be most convenient to our geographically diverse membership. Locations of all meetings are announced on the web site, by email (if we have your address) and through press releases to the local media.

All WAS programs are free and the public is invited to attend.
